South Beach Information

There is so much to see and do it is mind boggling to decide where to begin. It makes sense at first to do nothing except find yourself a good vantage point on the beach or in a cafe, order a cold drink and literally watch the world go by. This is where people watching as a sport reaches new heights. There is always a parade of interesting folks to look at. After a rest, you can rent some inline skates or a bicycle and join in on the fun. South Beach appeals to all the senses, from the sights of the beach, the architecture, the beautiful people with beautiful bodies, to the smells of wonderful food emanating from cafes and restaurants.

South Beach can be amazingly inexpensive too. The beach is free, safe, impeccably maintained and anyone can use it. Walking is free and the sights are worth a million dollars. There's a terrific 3.5-km boardwalk that is considered to be a famous landmark. You can take a walking tour of South Beach's famous Art Deco hotel strip that's full of the history of early 20th century architecture, .and you never know when you will see a famous movie star enroute. Although there are some very expensive and trendy restaurants in the South Beach area, there are also inexpensive family restaurants and fast food outlest. You don't have to spend a lot to have a good time in South Beach.
